Drop in to join us and cheer on MetaSpace 511 Innovator in Residence Jack and the Mukwonago High School First Robotics Team 930 in Houston for the First Robotics Championship (FRC) World Competition. This will be a watch party for the library community and members of Team 930 Mukwonago BEARs Robotics. Hosted by MetaSpace 511, and the Friends of the Library. There will be robot coloring sheets, LEGO blocks for families to build a robot, and more. We hope you can join us for this Community Event!

About Team 930: On March 15th-16th, Team 930 won multiple awards at the Wisconsin Regional. As Regional Winners and FIRST Impact winners, Team 930 is competing at the FIRST World Championship for the 2024 game CRESCENDO in Houston, TX. Over 600 teams from around the world are competing in this week-long event in mid-April. Every team is competing in multiple separate 'regionals' that eventually lead into a tournament bracket that allows the alliances that won their separate regionals to take their shot at winning world championships. Team 930 is also competing for the FIRST Impact award, which they also won at the Wisconsin Regional. This award demonstrates a team's impact on their local community and demonstrates a commitment to fostering STEM education.
