Join Ice Age Trail Thousand-Miler Diana Matthews for this introductory presentation to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Be inspired for adventures on the Trail!
The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a 1,200 mile long footpath found entirely within Wisconsin, traveling through some of the state’s most beautiful natural areas, including right through the heart of Hartland. It is more than just a path through the woods – it is a place for mental and physical rejuvenation, a place to unwind after a hard day, and a place to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Learn tips and tricks for day hiking and long distance hiking, along with plenty of resources to get you started to have a safe and successful journey. We’ll have maps and information suited to scratch that hiking itch.
Diana is an active volunteer with the Waukesha Milwaukee County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance and is familiar with the local segments of the Ice Age Trail.
