Mixed Media Basics: Watercolors

Mixed Media Basics offers beginning artists the chance to explore basic techniques and properties of different art media. This year, we will spend two months working with one media.

This month, we will continue working with watercolors. Along with the basics learned in January's class, we will work with masking liquid to create new patterns and designs. This class does not offer the chance to complete an art project, but more an opportunity to work with the paint to see how it functions, what techniques work best for you, and learn how to make the paint do what you want. 

All materials are provided. Registration is required in advance as space is limited. 

PLEASE NOTE: This media will be used in both January and March Mixed Media Basics classes, however, participation in both dates is not required. They will be treated as two separate classes with the opportunity to work with the media. Techniques learned in January's class will be available in print, but not as a demonstration.
