Program Description

Event Details

One of our most popular program is back! The D&D Club will meet once a month to play one-shot Dungeons and Dragons role playing games! Seasoned DM's will guide players on a new fantasy adventure each meeting. No experience is needed to join, just show up ready to get creative and have fun! Special thanks to Oddwillow's for sponsoring this program!

This program is open to ages 6-18, players will be split into groups based on age. Registration is required for this program.

A role playing game is a game in which players must create a character and participate in various adventures and experiences. The game requires creativity and imagination. A "one-shot" game refers to a role playing game intended to be played in a single, 1-2 hour session. The "DM" or "dungeon master" refers to the person who manages and guides the game.

If you have children registered in the 6-7 range, we ask that you remain within sight of your child for the duration of the program. An excerpt from our program attendance policy (available on our website) is below:

"A. Minors ages 0 to 7 – Must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian or designated responsible individual aged twelve (12) or older, and be in sight of that person, while in the Library and/or while attending Library programs. This responsible individual must supervise, guide, and control the behavior of their charge(s) at all times.

B. Minors ages 8 to 11 – May visit the Library on their own and may be left alone to participate in Library programs. They are not allowed to supervise other minors.

C. Minors ages 12 to 18 – May visit the Library on their own and may be left alone to participate in Library programs. They are allowed to supervise other minors and must supervise, guide, and control the behavior of their charge(s) at all times."
