Halloween PokéWalk

Get ready for a special Halloween edition of PokéWalk. Players are invited to dress in costume and join us for a walk around Washington Avenue Park. High fives to anyone dressed like a Pokémon!

Open up the Pokémon Go app on your mobile device and join us for a walk around Washington Avenue Park, which is adjacent to the Library. We will begin our walk outside the main doors of the Library, under the portico. Library staff will set off lures at virtual Pokestops as we walk. Participants can virtually catch Pokemon in the wild and hatch Pokemon eggs while walking using the Pokemon Go app.

Following the walk, participants are welcome to hang out in the library for self-directed Pokémon fun which may include trading Pokémon in the mobile app, adding friends in the mobile app, and trading Pokémon cards from your personal collection. Recommended for  school-age children and teens. Participants must supply their own mobile devices. It is highly recommended that you download the Pokémon Go app and set up an account prior to attending this program.
