Program Description

Event Details

Open Maker Hours is a time to use the equipment for which you’ve been badged (3D printers, Cricut Maker, Laser Machine, Vacuum Former, and/or Sewing Machine, etc.) or to use other equipment in the makerspace. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be inspired, collaborate with others, and finish projects.

Open Maker Hours is for anyone age 13 and older with up to 8 walk-ins at a time. Children under 13 are welcome with an adult who is working on a project and must be supervised the entire time.

If you are badged (trained to use certain equipment), you can email or call to reserve the following equipment for 1 hour during Open Maker Hours: Cricut Maker Machine, Laser Machine, Creator Pro 3D Printer, Finder 3D Printer, Vacuum Former, and Sewing Machine. All other equipment and space are first come, first serve. Equipment training will “not” be available during Open Maker Hours. Please make an appointment for badge training.

Hours are: Second & Fourth Mondays, 3:00 – 6:00 pm, every third Wednesday, 4:00 – 7:00 pm, and one Saturday a month (hours vary, check the Library Calendar).

Please contact our Makerspace Lead Innovator Nancy for additional training options and questions: email: metaspace511@mukwonagolibrary.org or call 262-363-6411 ext. 4111
