Event Details

Spend an evening exploring new techniques and connecting with others in the community! This month, we’ll use simple embroidery stitches to jazz up your black and white photos. Bring your own prints, or use some we have on hand. Registration is required. Spaces go fast, so don’t wait! All supplies will be provided.

Photo requirements: 

  • If bringing your own photos, please print them on a sturdy base such as cardstock (regular copy paper will be too weak). Standard printed photos (on photo paper) should be thick enough, as well.
  • Black and white or sepia tone photos work great for this project. If using color photos, try to use images that have a more muted or simple background so your stitches don't get lost with the background.
  • Bring a few photos in case you have time to embellish more than one!
  • We will have several random black and white photos on cardstock to choose from if you don't wish to bring your own photos. Subject of the photos will vary (animals, landscaping, people, etc).
