Mixed Media Basics offers beginning artists that chance to explore basic techniques and properties of different art media. This year, we will spend two months working with one media.

Open up the Pokemon Go app on your mobile device and join us for a walk around Washington Avenue Park, which is adjacent to the Library. We will begin our walk outside the main doors of the Library, under the portico.

Kids yoga is much more fun than your average yoga class. We will play yoga games, experiment with fun poses, sing to yoga songs, and learn meditation and breathing techniques. Each class will combine fun and play with learning.

Dance, sing, wiggle, and squirm to children's favorites plus many new musical hits! And there will be lots of bubbles!

Participants will be split into two teams and compete in a myriad of minute-to-win-it games. Games will include guess the Oreo flavor, cup stacking, flip cup, and more!

This summer, starting at the Library, we will work our way around Washington Park, chalking sidewalk squares as we go. Can we complete the entire loop by August? Will the rain foil our plans and require us to start all over again?

Calling all princes and princesses! Get ready to step into a world of enchantment as we bring the timeless tale of Cinderella to life through songs! Cinderella herself will be joining us Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30 pm for a musical adventure.

The Wildlife In Need Center family-friendly program will feature live animal ambassadors!

Join us for a relaxing session of origami paper folding. We will make frogs, Samurai warrior helmets, cicadas, robots, and more. Open to ages 9-12.
