Program Description

Event Details

Join us in MetaSpace 511 for a demonstration of 3D Printers in the makerspace. A MetaSpace 511 staff member will show you how to use the 3D Printers, which are capable of printing everything from fun figurines, and replacement parts, to prototypes for design and engineering!  Upon completion of the training, you'll be "Badged" so you can book appointments to create your maker projects using one of the 3D Printers.

The 3D Printing Badging Session is for beginners and anyone that has not had a training session, 1:1 3D Printing appointment, or taken a 3D Printing class during 2022. If you had training prior to 2022 you will need to go through a Badging Session.

The training will include an orientation, safety rules, materials, and how to use and help maintain the 3D Printers. You will also be able to take home a 3D-printed miniature keepsake you help make!

Space is strictly limited; please be kind and cancel if you cannot attend, so someone on the waitlist can join us. Thank you!

If registration is full, don't worry. We'll have more training sessions throughout the year and you can also sign up for a Makerspace Appointment for training.

Please contact our Makerspace Lead Innovator Nancy for additional training options and questions: email: metaspace511@mukwonagolibrary.org or call 262-363-6411 ext. 4111
